2019 St David’s Day dinner

Our St David’s Day dinner will be held at 7.00 for 7.30pm on Friday 1 March at Mortonhall Golf Club, 231 Braid Rd, Edinburgh EH10 6PB.

We are thrilled that our Gwraeg Wadd will be Ann Evans, who was an active member of our Society until her recent move to North Wales. Ann served as President in 1979–80 and 2005–7, and she and Daniel have contributed hugely to the life of the Society over many decades. It will be lovely to welcome them back and hear all their news.

The menu choices are:

Cawl  or
Smoked mackerel pate with Melba toast  or
Melon with raspberry coulis

Roast lamb with mint sauce  or
Salmon with herb crust  or
Filo tartlet with chargrilled veg and mozzarella
each served with roast and dauphinoise potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Bramble and apple crumble with custard  or
Fruit salad and cream  or
Cheese platter
