Programme 2016–17

Most of our meetings are held at Reid Memorial Church, 182 West Savile Terrace, Edinburgh, EH9 3HY, usually in the small hall but sometimes in the large hall (as noted below).

12.30pm          Lunch and walking tour of Linlithgow

Saturday 24 July
12.30pm          Lunch, walk and visit to Dalmeny House

Saturday 3 September
10.25am          Borders train trip and visit to Abbotsford House (lunch 12noon; tour 1.45pm)

Friday 23 September
7.30pm           “Croeso” Opening Social evening at the Merchants Golf Club.
The usual fare: buffet supper, quiz and turns.

Saturday 1 October
7.00pm             Concert by the modern choir from Llanelli (The Philharmonics) (Reid large hall)

Sunday 9 October
3.00pm             Harvest Service (Reid large hall). Donations of dried goods would be appreciated.

Friday 18 November
7.30pm            “St Andrewsey” evening with turns and stovies at Priestfield Church, Dalkeith Road

Sunday 11 December
3.00pm             Carol Service followed by Christmas party (Reid large hall)

Sunday 22 January 2017
3.00pm             Welsh film show, followed by refreshments

Friday 17 February
7.30pm             “Sion a Sian” – “Mr & Mrs” – evening with Chinese takeaway at Priestfield Church, Dalkeith Road

Thursday 23 February
7.30 pm            Talk to be arranged

Friday 3 March
7 for 7.30          St David’s Day dinner

Sunday 5 March
3.00pm              Mini Gymanfa Ganu (Reid large hall).

March/April
possible visit to Jupiter Art Land with lunch
