Programme 2015–16

Most of our meetings are held at Reid Memorial Church Hall, 182 West Savile Terrace, Edinburgh, EH9 3HY.

Saturday 20 June 2015
12.30pm                            Lunch at the Cramond Brig followed by a walk along the Almond to Cramond.

Saturday 11 July
from 11.00am                   Train trip to Kirkcaldy to view the Great Scottish Tapestry with lunch at Pane e Vino at 1pm.

Friday 25 September
7.30pm                              “Croeso” Opening Social evening with entertainment and buffet supper at the Charwood (formerly the Tusitala).

Sunday 11 October
3.00pm                              Harvest Service at the Reid Memorial Church large hall, West Saville Terrace. Donations of dried goods would be appreciated.

Sunday 1 November
3.00pm                              Illustrated talk – “Cooperation and Rivalry between the Welsh and the Scots. Some examples” by Dr Huw John. Reid Memorial small hall.

Friday 27 November
7.30pm                              St Andrew’s Night supper party at Priestfield Church, Dalkeith Road.

Sunday 6 December
3.00pm                              Carol Service followed at 4.00pm by Christmas party; at the Reid Memorial large hall.

Friday 22 January 2016
7.30pm                              Filmshow “Dark Horse” followed by refreshments in the Reid Memorial small hall.

Sunday 21 February
3.00pm                              “Sion a Sian” – “Mr & Mrs” evening followed by refreshments in the Reid Memorial small hall.

Saturday 5 March
7 for 7.30                          St David’s Day dinner at the Mortonhall Golf Club.

Sunday 6 March
3.00pm                              Mini Gymanfa at the Reid Memorial large hall.

Tuesday 12 April
7.30pm                              Visit to Newbattle Abbey

Thursday 21 April
7.30pm            Annual General Meeting followed by entertainment in the Reid Memorial small hall.
