EWSNEWS – September 2020

I hope you are coping with the constraints of the virus and keeping safe and busy.

Your committee met by Zoom yesterday evening, as this seems our way forward for the foreseeable future. There is nothing of major note to report.

Looking ahead we do not anticipate being able to hold any proper events this year – this situation will probably extend into the Spring of 2021.

We therefore unanimously agreed that is was not appropriate to collect any subscriptions this year. There is money in the bank and we have very few outgoings. There will be no printed programme card.

However to maintain some contact and activity it was suggested that we try to have an event, possibly a quiz, via Zoom, on Friday 30 October at 7.00pm. If you would like to participate in this, or in any future Zoom meetings, please let me know by email to gro.yteicoshslewhgrubnidenull@yraterces.

If that event goes well, we are thinking about a having a Zoom “Noson Lawen” on Friday 27 November in lieu of the St. Andrew’s evening.

Your thoughts on these proposals would be very much appreciated.

Stay safe and I hope to see you via Zoom soon.

Pop hwyl,

Jennifer
